Description

The Theatre performance course at lnchicore College is exciting and challenging. It is the longest established course of its kind in Ireland and has kept pace with developments in, and the changing demands of, the Performing Arts. This is a full time course which offers the student a high level of training in all the disciplines needed for performance. As a result it is highly regarded within Professional Theatre.

The experienced tutors are also theatre professionals who bring their knowledge and expertise to the modules they teach. Students also have the benefit of guest specialists and directors who are invited to provide further workshop experience.

Along with the practical skills offered, the course provides FETAC accreditation to levels 5 and 6 along with the awarding of the Trinity (London) Grade 8 acting Certificate, Diploma in Solo Acting, and Diploma in Musical Theatre. Many of our students have progressed to third level Higher Diploma and MA courses in colleges such as Central School of Drama London, UCD and Maynooth, as well as enjoying active careers in professional theatre.

We welcome applications from all Post-Leaving cert age groups, including Mature students.
