Description
Discover new ways of seeing through drawing in this practical and engaging ten-week course. Suitable for learners with some drawing experience as well as those wishing to develop their skills, the course introduces a range of drawing approaches designed to expand each student’s visual language and confidence.
Over the first eight weeks, participants will explore five different methods of drawing, with each approach developed over two weeks. This structure allows time to experiment, reflect, and consolidate new skills before moving on. Topics will include scaling up images using a grid, enlarging small objects, trompe l’œil, and other observational and creative drawing techniques.
The final two weeks will focus on life drawing from the nude model, offering students the opportunity to apply the techniques and ideas developed throughout the course in a rewarding and supportive studio environment.
