Materials: An additional materials fee of €10 is paid directly to your tutor on the first night of classes.

Description

Discover the joy of creating beautiful handmade cards in this friendly and creative evening course.

During the course, you’ll learn a variety of techniques, including layering, stamping, die-cutting and decorative card folds. Fiona also incorporates sustainable crafting by using recycled materials such as old greeting cards, ribbons, lace and buttons to create unique designs.

Suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience, the course begins with the basics of cutting and design before progressing to more advanced techniques. Students will make at least two cards each evening and can take home any unused materials.

What to Bring

  • Sharp scissors (small to medium size)
  • Pencil, ruler and eraser
  • Pritt Stick
  • Craft mat and craft knife (optional)

About your tutor: Fiona Farrell

Fiona Farrell has over 35 years of card-making experience. A self-taught crafter, she began by making personalised cards for family and friends before developing her skills through evening classes in stamping and heat embossing. She has since taught card-making and papercraft classes and enjoys helping others discover their creativity.
