About your tutor: Alex Delogu

The course is taught by Alex, an experienced Tai Chi instructor who has been teaching in Dublin for over ten years. Alex began his Tai Chi training in 2003 under the guidance of Jan Golden, founder of Tai Chi Ireland, completing a dedicated apprenticeship before going on to teach classes and workshops throughout Dublin.
In addition to community classes, Alex has led an ongoing Tai Chi programme at the Central Mental Hospital, adapting his teaching to meet the needs of a wide range of participants. His thoughtful and encouraging approach helps beginners develop confidence while learning at their own pace.
Alongside his work as a Tai Chi teacher, Alex is a practising psychotherapist, lecturer, and semi-professional musician. This diverse professional background informs his teaching, creating classes that are attentive, engaging, and focused on both physical movement and mental wellbeing.
