Information for International Applicants

Please note that no application (EU or non EU/EEA) can be made without a PPS number.  All queries relating to PPS numbers must be addressed directly to the Department of Social Protection. If you need to contact the college please email: info@inchicore.cdetb.ie

Inchicore college welcomes applications from qualified international applicants. International (non-EU) learners must comply with Irish immigration requirements and must present either the appropriate visa or a letter of permission to remain in Ireland issued by the Immigration section of the Department of Justice.

In order to participate on a further education course, asylum seekers will need to present their Labour Market Access Permission letter. Please click here for an information on accessing Further Education from The Irish Refugee Council. To check if your residence stamp allows you to participate in PLC courses click here for further information.

Note: Our courses are currently not included on the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP) for non-EU applicants which can be found here. As a result, a provisional offer from one of our courses will not assist a non-EU applicant in securing a student visa.

Non-EU applicants may be liable for extra fees.
